Most of the time, when the Sun rises in the morning, his good friend Moon has already said goodnight.
But things were different this morning; his friend was falling asleep in the morning sky!

Good Morning, friend Moon.

Oh, friend Sun, is it morning already?

Yes, friend Moon. The morning has come. I am happy to see you.
I am happy to see you too, friend Sun. I’m sorry I was falling asleep.

That’s okay. I know you had a very busy night.
Yes I did, friend Sun …

Last night, I rose as big as I could from behind a few of the clouds to say hello to friend Star. I said hello to all the rest of our star friends, too.

As I rose higher, I was able to help the waves of the ocean reach the shore. The waves were happy to see the beach again.

I gave light to the Star Gazers club for their monthly Moon Walk; they love looking at our star friends in the sky.

I listened as Cub Scout troop 416 told spooky stories on their camping trip; they really got a good scare.

I stopped to listen to a chorus of wolves sing me a wonderful song in the mountains; it was such a beautiful symphony.
